Random turrets switch offNot An Issue
We have made a huge base with loads of turrets, but some of the turrets wont switch on.  If I switch a few off then I can switch others on, but there dont seem to be any settings to or limits.  Any ideas?
We're also seeing this issue. And the turrets will sometimes switch off on their own 10-20 minutes later. Really strange.
When doing /turret, sometimes it doesnt show up that it failed right or not near? That means a turret miles away has been turned off or on. So keep that in mind

Turrets can only be toggled from as far as your config allows.

It definitly doesn't work like that. It turns turrets off when I'm farther way. I've even tested it and it turns them off through walls and foundations

Do you have any information as to why the turrets randomly turn back off on their own then? It doesn't happen all the time, but it becomes more frequent the more turrets you've placed.

Exactly, its not a major issue but its definitly there. Just have to look down directly and make sure you're not looking at any other turrets. Helps for me.
It's not abusive admins because admins cannot turn other players turrets off.

Example of what is a common scenario: Turning a turret off using /turret with a reach of 5 meters turns a turret off. Going to a different one with turrets more than 5 meters away through several walls turns off without a failure message. There should always be a failure message if I understand correctly. But when I failure message is not present, a turret in the direction I did /turret, has either turned off or on.

Hey August,

After doing some various testing myself, I can confirm, that turrets are being turned off through walls, and this is on a test server where this is the only plugin on there. I've tried it both as an admin as well as a standard player. It's also turning these off from quite a distance away without walls, and while aiming at an entirely different turret. I don't believe the radius controls are working properly, or at least it's not keeping it in mind, but also for some reason, aiming doesn't quite matter when trying to turn on/off turrets? Might help your investigations.

I will add that it does seem to happen more frequently the more turrets you've got placed. It doesn't happen much at all until you've got around 50. Anything after that starts to get spotty.
