is there a plugin that would simple add a custom Tag to a person if they have the permission?
We want players to have a Tag like "[GM] Name" , or "[VIP] Name"
Adding a [Tag] in front of a players Name when having permission
If, you mean in chat, i guess better chat can do it with the group option

I hoped there is a way smaller plugin than the whole BetterChat that could only do the Tags.

is that one tag per permission ? with 89 plugins and a fair amount of permissions that is a lot of tags
You can easilly handle multiple tags with a single plugin.. :)pookins

But yes this can be done rather easilly, though I am not sure it's worth putting as a stand-alone plugin on the listings (Would also go against the simmilarity guideline).
I'll whack something together quickly and have it be merged as reply in a couple of minutes.
Come to think of it, it's a bit more work then I thought. Because a user could have multiple groups, you'd need some way to prioritize the groups. Hmm..
Yes, i noticed the same when i used BetterChat.
There is a prio already max amount of titles/tags.
I stick with betterchat right now
