I couldn't find something like where it could be delayed a set number of hours/days but basically tracks where people are at and captures the battles, raids or close encounters. There are a few plugins that could be integrated. This could be placed in twitch and could be like an end of the day highlights where there are highlight rundowns of player times so people could actually follow and check out what happened from a birds-eye view.

Exploring if this has been suggested in the past (? I couldn't find anything like this) and if people thought this is possible or wanted it from the community before I put some time in on developing it. 

Well in theory thats looks possible, but you will need one of your PC (or hosting) launching game and special plugin will teleport you to that moments

Would be cool if the server would retain a daily replay file, which the server owner could download and playback inside of rust.. similar to what fortnite has/had I don't know if it still has it.. then the server owner could use it to create a video montage of what happened daily, weekly or whatever.
