I see "All noobs will be placed in this group for 2 days." so new players join the server and are placed here.

I set the config to "NoobTiming (d/h/m)": "2d0h0m" which I assume will mean they'll stay there for 2 days?

My question is, if all this happens automatically why is the timed permissions plugin required?

I'm not entirely sure, but I will be re-writing this as my own soon, so I may have more answers then.

Looking over it, I'm guessing it's there to remove them after a period of time from the "noob" group, though I don't really see why it is necessary.

Ok thanks yeah. It seems to work so far. It created the groups, added people to the newbie group. Going to see if it moves people to the returningplayers group eventually.

Actually noticed something.

• I have 5 people in the newbie group.
• I have 6 people in the returningplayers group.
• 5 of the 6 are the same in both groups.

I'm unclear what's happening.

I don't understand how the 6th player is only in the returningplayers group but all others are the same. That doesn't make sense. At worst, I'd expect all of them to be the same due to the requirement of timed permissions to remove people from the newbie group...?

Unsure, but my re-write of it is almost done. Unsure if I will add any sort of timed handling, or just count connections.
