Instead of "Player committed suicide" it will show the last entity that the player was damaged by. Such as a scientists shoots a player, downs him, and the player commits suicide, but it will say "Player was killed by Scientist" etc etc

If the player isn't able to suicide, why would it show that they suicided?
I'm just suggesting an alternative to completely disabling suicide. You could make it so if they never received any damage from anything during their life, then they can't suicide.Wulf
