Not all light are working

I am having players say that only some of thier lights turn on.  I check config and that are set to turn on but are not.  Placed 25 tunacan lights on 7 turn on.  Place 2 chinese lanterns and on 1 turns on.  There are night not lights will turn on.  All Lights have fuel and ideas?

a lot of ideas; have all of those lights been placed at the same time? running other plugins that control time of day? each player has their own config, it would be best if YOU tested it for yourself.

I only have Auto Fuel and Night Lantern for the lights and nothing for time of day.  It's been working for years but this month problems have started.  I have tested at myself placing 20 lantern one night they all turn on and the next night 3 will work, the next night 14 will work then only 1 will work.   I loaded on test server with only Night Lantern and still the same issue.

Having the same issue... sometimes they work after a reload....then as the nights progess in the game they stop working. Players are angry about it.

Also getting this, they sometimes work after a reload but will stop working after a few nights. Toggling the global setting off and on a few times with the /lantern global command can fix it temporarily too.

my best guess was somehow the list was getting screwed up, but if the global command fixes it?? you're gonna have to figure out how to replicate it if you want a fix..

"they" sometimes work.... you testing every entitiy or is it specifically the lanterns, are you sure players are not manually turning them on/off, have you cleared the data file for this plugin lately? i did env.time like 20 times and never had a problem.. before and after a plugin reload, I manually turned one lantern off and it still kept cycling correctly after.. a short 2min clip mid test:  https://streamable.com/0bbwdn

"they" referring to the lights this plugin handles? I notice it on all I have enabled, Lanterns, Fireplaces, Cauldrons, Tuna Lights & Jack O Lanterns. I noticed the data file was empty. Not sure if it should be, it is on my test server too.

Just reporting what I've noticed over the past few weeks. I hadn't written anything here since I haven't had time yet to jump on my test server to attempt to replicate but thought I'd add to the discussion with what I know so far.

Did a quick test on my test server using the same plugins and configs but a fresh install of NightLantern (and a differing Oxide and Rust version to main server as the main server has not updated in the past day)

I did not come across the issues using env.time

I have reset everything to do with NightLantern on the main server and will see if it is noticed or reported

So, after allowing the main server to operate all day today with no env.time use (natural progression). I have noticed that the plugin does not switch on lanterns it is supposed to. The server has run for >14 hours since the last restart.

This is after removing the data file and resetting the config then changing some values. I did not come across this issue on my test server using env.time but haven't left it up to test if it replicates after hours of natural progression.

Once I noticed this, I reloaded the plugin and waited. Nothing happened. I then did the /lantern global command twice and some lanterns switched on (in a similar setup to what feto showed above).

Going to leave my test server on to see if it replicates with identical configuration, then with only NightLantern installed to see if it is a conflict.
