My suggestion would be to follow the conventions of Modular Car Code Locks plugin, including the following.
We could also explore the possibility of making one plugin for all vehicle locks since there would ideally be similar functionality in all of them. However, I generally prefer keeping plugins small and distinct, so maybe we can figure out a central plugin to share functionality between them if needed.
- Allow charging for a lock (should be default since generally vanilla-compatible settings should be default)
- Allow basic sharing settings to bypass the lock
- Add API and hooks

Hi, I made it with a codelock first but changed it again because my partner wanted it to be able to be stolen.
I make or change plugins for our own server at first. I indeed should have made the option for the locktype immediately on change. I guess I got very lazy there :).
Expanding it (one way or another) for other types was on my list. Especially for the scrap heli this would be logical to have.
I'll work on it.
Ludek PMed me about this recently so I was just working out the details to implement a new plugin this weekend. Was planning to make a "Helicopter Code Locks" plugin, with support for Minicopters and Scrap Helis since the logic is the same for both (maybe eveventually chinooks too).
Was planning to have these features as well.
- Permission to auto deploy code lock when spawning at the Air Wolf vendor
- Block looting of containers parented to the helis (since various plugins add them), as well as call the Oxide hook for this so sharing plugins can hook in
Open to discussing how we can work together if that makes sense to do, but I'm more than happy to do the whole thing myself, can probably do it all this weekend.

For the time being has minicopterlock been updated. A codelock can now be used.
