All lights are on after each restart. This is annoying.Not An Issue

could you set it so that the lights are off when the server is restarted. because with all minicopters the lights are on after a server restart.

And is it possible to add that the light goes off automatically when a minicopter is on the ground?

I would be grateful for an answer.

I will investigate why they are on after restart.

I will also consider adding an option to auto turn off the light automatically, but might not do that since I don't think scrap heli lights work that way (to be confirmed).

I reproduced the issue, but in my case, it was caused by Powerless Electronics. It has a bug where entities that it's supposed to ignore (particularly parented entities) are affected when the plugin loads (i.e., on server boot). I released an update for that plugin to fix it. Let me know if that was the issue for you as well.

I don't think installing it would help. However, since I was not able to reproduce the issue with only MiniCopterOptions installed, that suggests to me that you have another plugin causing this. For example, the LightsOn plugin fulfills a similar purpose and therefore might also have that issue.

At this point, you can troubleshoot on your end to determine which plugin it is. You can also paste your plugin list here and I'll let you know if any of them stand out as possible causes.

I don't see anything in that list that could obviously cause an issue.

Since the lights are turning on a server restart, it's very likely that this happens also whenever a particular plugin is reloaded. Therefore, you may be able to test without restarting the server.

The recommended process for narrowing down the plugin will be what is called a binary search, where you load half of your plugins at a time. For example, unload them all, then load the first half. If the light turned on, then the issue is caused by one of the plugins in the first half. If the light did not turn on, the issue is probably caused by a plugin in the second half. Once you know which half, unload all plugins again, and load half of that list (i.e., the first quart of of your plugins). This approach, where you reduce the search space by 50% each time, is exponentially faster than testing one plugin at a time.
