Storage containers

can the storage be better positioned?
for example under the fuel tank or under the seats to make it look more neat?
Thanks!

I suggest using the Vehicle Storage plugin which allows you to fully customize the positions.

why not make your own plugin look good?

Vehicle Storage is a plugin I created to specialize in adding storage to vehicles, to address the shortcomings of other plugins, and to allow users to use a single plugin for all vehicle storage instead of using 5 plugins for it.

I did not create MiniCopterOptions. I reluctantly maintain it because many people use it. MiniCopterOptions tries to achieve too much scope, and often has problems as a result.

what problems are you talking about? It seems to run fine on my server
I looked into vehicle storage, it looked a bit complicated for me :))

Maybe you don't notice any problems now, because I have repeatedly patched the plugin to fix issues, but the plugin has a long history of causing errors and features being broken.

The issues mostly stem from poor initial implementation. The devs seemed more concerned with adding features and scope than implementing the features correctly. The plugin tries to do many different types of things (turrets, storage, resized search light, tail light following night cycle, lockable storage), all of which work differently in Rust, and all of which I have had to fix at least once. Having wide breadth significantly increases the likelihood of the plugin breaking of failing to compile after game updates. Additionally, each of these features is implemented so basically that they leave something to be desired, so the plugin constantly receives requests for things like adding permissions.

I'm sorry to hear that you find Vehicle Storage complicated and difficult to approach. That's good feedback. As far as I know, the plugin is not complicated, but its configuration is very long, so it might seem daunting at first. I'm happy to answer any questions on how to configure it. Realistically, configuring it they way you want should take a few minutes once you know how to do it. The default configuration already includes a bunch of preset container positions that you can use, you just need to tell it which containers you want, and how much capacity you want to give those containers
