Technically yes, because that's not correct spelling. However, that is the string the code looks for so you have to use that for it to work. Usually developers just copy paste the generated config into the documentation so typos in documenting the configuration are uncommon.
This could be easily changed, but it would be a backwards incompatible change for people who are currently using the plugin, so it's recommended that the author only change this if they can make the change backwards compatible by supporting the old and new value. Understandable if that's not worth the effort for them.
