Control aggro or following players after respawnSuggestion
If a player is killed, then respawns in their base some distance away, sometimes the heli seems to follow them. This is helpful when fighting the heli from a heli base since you want him to stick around, but in other situations you may not want that.

Is there a way to set some type of radius to control an aggro radius?  This way if you get killed and you spawn outside of 300 meters let's say, the heli will drop aggro and leave you alone. If you respawn within the radius, he'll continue to aggro.
I've noticed this as well, and I've personally always attributed it to an issue with Rust. I don't think it was ever intended, it seems like a bug to me. It has been a while since I've looked at it, but I could try to find a way to "fix" this (optionally, of course. Some may wish to keep this behavior).

That'd be great @Shady. Keep in mind people use this to identify the location of player bases too.

If you run Rust:IO and DeathNotes (which many do), you can see the helicopter position on the Rust:IO map and know when the heli kills players.

Imagine someone gets killed by the Heli, DeathNotes announces it. They spawn back at their base and the heli follows, hovering over their position. Someone else looks at the Rust:IO map and knows where their base is.

To give a quick update on this, I haven't had much success with the suggestion. It would seem that manually trying to change the helicopter's targeting can often result in... strange behavior. If I can get it to work smoothly, I'll add it as a feature, but I'd rather not have it than have it only working half of the time or causing other very bad issues.
Thanks for your attention and time. I appreciate it.
