Some Info Needed

Hi im currently testing this on a local server so at moment is only me on 
I have set the HQ and at first i seen a circle which represents my base on the map
After a few minutes this Disapears on the map View
Is this supposed to happen ???

Mine did too.  No the map marker should be persistent.

Hello! It should not happen.  Thanks for reporting it.  I will look into it and let you know.  There's also a /hq.list command which lists all headquarters.  It's more of a debugging thing but you can rely on that for now.  You can also do /grid to see where you are.  Or you can just look at the map grids on the map.

Got another issue
I just got a player on to test something and i told him to blow my door and he could.
Why is my HQ not protected ???
The player does not have a base or a HQ 
He just logged on to blow my base per my request

He is also not a friend in game or on my TC

after numerous tests regardless if you enable protection for your base - nothing is added.
it says it is protected but anyone can blow it up.
I have even built a second base with no protection - made no difference

Thanks for your testing Tom.  I will investigate and get back to you.  I'm pretty sure I know what the issue is.  I also investigated the map issue.  I believe it's caused by the server saving causing the markers to be removed.  I will have an update soon.

I have released a new update which hopefully addresses both of these issues.  I also put up a test server for the plugin with my own base and headquarter.  The server is: *.*.*.*:28236 and the base is currently located at E9.

Checked on your server - it seems to be working fine as i cannot damage the base

whats to stop people just making a base a HQ and storing all their Good stuff in there so it cannot be raided and then going around the map wiping everyone out.
I have protection on my base and i went to my neighbours who had none and i could raid him
Soon as he put protection on - i could not.
There is no penalty for me having a protected base.

i can come on your server and test it with u if you want.

The main benefit of headquarters is to allow players to have a place where you can build out your base ideas and play with electricity and other end game components.  Normally casual players struggle to get to that point because its only a matter of time before someone raids you and then you start over.  With headquarters you can buid your best idea of a base, and when you think its ready.. you can disable its protection and go up against others who have done the same.  During that time you can still raid regular bases though.  Additionally, if you wait too long Free For All comes online and everyone loses their protection too.

What the mod does is it splits up raiding into two tiers.  The low tier.. is regular bases, the higher tier is headquarters.  The best stuff will likely be at a headquarters base, but not always.  You may find some good items when you're near a regular base.  Then you have to get it back to your headquarter safely.. but your headquarter's location is known by everyone because its on the map so that will not always be easy to do.  Also, you can raid your neighbor.. but he would also likely have a headquarter of his own somewhere, so it all balances out.

It would be great to do tests with you Tom but I'm actually on vacation so my gaming time is quite limited until next Sunday.  I can join you then!

yeah i understand what u saying but if i have protection then as soon as i start raiding someone then i should lose my Protection.
At moment i can protect my base and go freely around the map and raid everyone without worrying about my own base being raided.
