The /shop command when typed ingame does nothing, it also shows an error in Rcon when the command is used.

Actually, that is failing to get a shop from the NPC itself that you are standing in front of.
Looks like you have set up an invalid shop, please forward me your config on discord so that I may take a look at it.

Technically it should be sending a message response not erroring in console I would like to use your config for debugging purposes
As of version 2.3.16 & up this issue has been fixed. ( For others still asking around )
