The version of mono that games such as Rust uses will not work with a lot of modern HTTPS technology such as TLS 1.3 (often 1.2 as well) and various certificate types such as ECDSA. This error isn’t really fixable outside of not using HTTPS else waiting for our standalone webclient.

Hello Wolf, I have the same problem.
Is there a workaround?
A voting site offers an API in "https" so it must be possible to run it under Rust?

You can use https, but you can't use what I mentioned above. It will not be possible on the current version until we release our standalone web client else you use a site that is http or using a lesser security standard.

I.e. TLS 1.1 instead of TLS 1.2 or higher, RSA certificates instead of ECDSA certificates, etc.
