There is a Rust plugin that is very useful, but the original authors are no longer active. They don't respond to messages, they are not patching bugs or implementing new features. Because I love this particular plugin, I have implemented several fixes and new features based on the plugin help posts, and I'm having to circulate my updates through Email and other unsustainable ways. Is there a way for me to get admin access to such a plugin so that I can post code updates and otherwise keep the plugin alive? What is the process for doing this without the ability to obtain author concurrence?
How to Provide Updates for an Unsupported Plugin
The policy used to be that someone could "claim" an abandoned plugin once they had already submitted a plugin of their own, whether or no this still is the method i am unsure. But i am sure that someone will affirm or correct me shortly.
Thanks, I hope so. If that's still the case, I'd be curious to know how to go about the claim process.

Go on the discord ask one of the admins. If you do not have a dev role here you can not see the claim button.
Thank you, I'll try that. I'm hoping they can assign me a dev role and move this along.
So, Discord has been unhelpful so far, sadly. I was told to obtain a dev role, with no details provided. How does one become a developer/contributor?
Develope a plugin and submit it for review, once it has been accepted you are then a dev and can claim abandoned plugins (afaik)
Other than that pm @MRBlue and ask his advice
Thanks. I've actually done both of those already. Not yet reviewed and no response, respectively. ::sigh:: Thanks.
