Error while compiling: compiler version disconnected

OS: Windows

Server Type: Local server (not hosted)

Rust server is running completely fine, the only problem is that no plugin is getting compiled. Crucial information taken by oxide/logs is only this:

[Warning] Compiler may have been closed by interference from security software or install is missing files
[Error] Error while compiling: compiler version disconnected

I have already tried a complete reinstall of everything, change install dir, closed any application that could interfere with the compiler. Nothing seems to fix it.

Make sure you do not have multiple server instances running and that there isn't a hanging Compiler.exe in Task Manager.

I can safely say I only have one server instance running and there isn't compiler.exe in task manager hanging there. I can't find a solution for this.

reboot computer

reboot computer

Done already. Computer freshly rebooted and started an instance of rust server. Compiler gets disconnected.

It's hard to say otherwise, but it would either be something interfering, stalled process, or dependencies missing for it.
