Hi I am trying to do the first step to mod my dedicated server, by downloading and extracting the most recent oxide (rust) into my folder which contains rustdedicated.exe, whilst doing it i click yes to replace all and get this error  C:\Users\liamr\Downloads\Oxide.Rust (1).zip: Cannot create C:\rustserver\RustDedicated_Data\Managed\System.Runtime.Serialization.dll
! Access is denied.

I have tried running winrar as admin but no joy, can anybody help me with this?

That means that either your server is still running or you do not have permission to install there.

you are 100% right thank you I can't  believe I still had the server running :'), boy did you just make me feel old and out of touch with technology!

I managed to extract the folder but now wondering where do I actually install my plugins? If I remember correctly there used to be an oxide folder I would put the plugins in, but I can't find anything like that, not sure if I did it wrong or just can't find it.

The oxide/plugins folder would be created when you successfully start the server with Oxide installed. If it isn’t created, Oxide is likely not installed or was uninstalled.
