Oxide not loading on my serverSolved
Oxide on my server suddenly stopped loading. I asked about it in tech support with Nitrado and they said until uMod has been setup, oxide no longer works, hence no current mods will run either.

Is this true?

Thank you.
That is not true, builds are working and have never stopped working. All of the old links still work, new links work, we updated as normal this week and the week before.

The same applies to the rest of the games we support, the links have not stopped working, nor have the builds. Oxide builds have not changed, they are installed and run as normal. I'm not sure why your host is being odd about it.
Hello Wulf,

Thank you for confirming. That is what I suspected. Oxide was working fine along with the mods I was using a couple of days ago when I last checked. Now it suddenly doesn't work and Nitrado support tells me until uMod is up and running oxide can not be restored.

I will link this to their support.

Thank you, Wulf.

No worries, if they have any other question, issues, or confusion, feel free to let me know.
To anyone having the same issue suddenly not having oxide on their server who also has Nitrado for gamehosting.

Here's a solution on how I solved mine.

1. Downloaded the latest version of Oxide for Rust from: https://umod.org/games/rust
2. Extracted the oxide.rust.zip to a Temp folder.
3. I stopped my server via Nitrado's Web Interface for my Rust server.
4. Unchecked the check box for "Activate Oxide," at the very bottom of the General settings page.
5. Started the server without Nitrado's pervious install of oxide.
6. Stopped the server via the web interface.
7. Connected to the server folders via my Filezilla FTP client.
8. Moved the folder named, "RustDedicated_Data" from my Temp folder to the root directory of rust (i.e. /rust) and overwrite all, upon the pop-up prompt.
9. Start the server via the web interface.
10. Enjoy running server with oxide rust working again.

Thank you Wulf for you quick reply. Your support is much faster than that of Nitrado's tech support, which sometimes I may need to wait days to get an an answer and not always a wise one.

Glad to hear you got it working! FTP is always an option if a host allows it; some only do partially for plugins. I'm hoping to document what functionality hosts offer, and the specific steps to install both via any available control panel and FTP with for each of the hosts.
