I DON'T want to use the rich text editor... I NEED spell check, but because of this It seems I can't edit posts?

To type without rich text, chick the <> button to write the post directly without automatic formatting.

As far as editing a post goes, I'm assuming you mean after you posted? If so, that is time-limited.

The edit button was there, I just could not click it, nothing happened when I did, but as soon as I switch back to rich text editor I can edit the post..

Ah, so that reply box has nothing to do with the edit button, just for some reason some assets aren't loading properly for you right away.

Thanks for the report. The inline editor feature will now respect your preference basic text input.  Sorry for the inconvenience.
