You don't have enough memory to run the compiler, as said there. Ask your host if you're sure u have enough. AFAIK it requires like 100MB or something

Merged post

Also, as noticed in the log, you should use chmod +x or 0744/0755
what is chmod? im new to the hosting thing any info would be great out of no where all my plugins were able to be reloaded so thats fixed now

on a side note if you dont mind i currently have 1 other admin and want to add 2 mods for chat and such but how can i restrict their use of the f1 console to spawn items and such? i only want me and my co owner to be able to give items and do everything but i only want the mods to be able to moderate the chat by banning kicking muting etc.

thanks in advance for any help!
I'd suggest looking through the Plugins section, there are plugins for each of what you are looking for.
I have the same problem. The screenshot shows the memory usage of the server. When you restart the server, the changes in the plugins work.

I am running a custom map on DIgitalOcean droplet which has 8 GB Memory / 160 GB Disk on Ubuntu 18.04.3 (LTS) x64.

I've looked and found nothing that helps me. I already 'chmod +x Compiler.x86_x64', this error still occurs.

I realzie the error says out of memeory, it's an 8gig ubuntu server. I spoke with the map creator and he says 8 gb should not ber an issue.

Everything works excpet when I try and add any plugin scripts I get this:

I am using LGSM to setup the rust server on the droplet.

I have tried to set it up manually but I can't figure out how to install Oxide/uMod manually.

So I'd like to know is it REALLY a memory error, I need more than 8gb ram to run oxide on the server?

I have the sameish issue. 8Gb ram... that's not enough to use oxide?

14 (0xE)

Not enough storage is available to complete this operation

If you google this error.

Storage, like hard drive or memory storage.
Make sure you have a few hundreds of MB (at least) available (ram)
I appreciate your responses.

I wouldn't question the fact that there is not enough memory if the maps developer didn't tell me that his runs in 8gb.

So there is roughly 300 mb free when I run the command normally: free -m

After executing: sudo sysctl -w vm.drop_caches=3

I get 2bg+ free and the error still occurs.

As I stated above, I use LGSM to install uMod, I have no idea where it get's it. I am wondering if it's lgsm thats causing this somehow. Maybe a corrupted version of uMod or one of the supporting files.

Hmm... the problem only occurs when applying plugins to a running system.

If I start the server with the plugins already in the foler they work. idk

If you use LGSM as I do this may help you if you get this error and think/hope it's not memory related.

I used the LGSM command: ./rustserver mods-install

to install uMod/Oxide, which works unbless I try and add plugins at runtime, then I get that nasty memory/chmod error.

It was not until I downloaded proper oxide for linux.

The download page states: "For Linux builds, please use the "Develop" URL below"

Then there is a URL below that. That's not the link you want. You want the download button in the DEVELOPMENT section just below that.

Then stop your server, download the zip, open it and ftp the contents to the Managed folder.

Tl;DR - Once LGSM installs oxide, do youself a favour and download it manually from here and copy over.
