it would be awesome if there was an option so team members are automatically added as friends, because certain plugins dont have teams support but have friends support so it would streamline a lot of things. 

This plugin is an generic, universal API for other plugins to utilize, it doesn't really integrate with things like that. A separate plugin can be made to do that though, which would integrate with this plugin.
