I've decided to come back to the community after more than a year of absence. Looks like you're maintaining this plugin so thanks for that first off. 

Would it be possible for you to add the functionality to use the in-game friends/team list rather than the manually created user list and commands? This way plugins that rely on the Friends plugin can continue to do so and do not have to be rewritten if the server admin wants to use the in-game friends/team system. Does that make sense? We often get confused new players who have created a team with the in-game relationship manager but do not get the access they expect from another plugin.

A team member isn't really the same thing as a "friend" in this case. That is also something unique to Rust, and not really a universal thing. I could potentially add a conditional for it, but there wouldn't really be a sense in making this a Team Manager when other plugins already exist for that purpose.
