I notice it says:
This plugin wont start The server after shutdown like SmoothRestart! It will need assistance with a restart script or any other software that restarts the server after Shutdown.
But why not make it like it also restarts like Smooth Restart? If you open the .cs you could find out how right?
Why not make it auto restart like SmoothRestart? Not An Issue
Hey I'm thinking your not getting what the description saying. Smoothrestart can't restart a server as well. I'm trying to say it's similar on how it DOSEN'T restart a server like smoothrestart. Hope that clear's it up.
Edit: thought to add this as well. It's the section of smoothrestart that tells you that you need something to start the server back up and that what the GitHub link provide's if your Windows in FPSRestart.
Note: The plugin will only restart when you are using a restart script or any other software that restarts the instance after shutdown, there is not restart functionality natively with Rust, only quit or timed quit (which is what Rust's "restart" command is.)
Plugins can't start the server, only shut it down. The restart command in games like Rust doesn't actually start the server either, and always requires external help.
I remember hearing this before but im positive 99% of all hosts just restart server once it shuts down. Even my local rust test server restarts if you close the cmd. So in 99% of all cases server will just go back up using SmoothRestart
Perhaps, but this plugin wouldn't control if that happens or not. All this plugin can do is tell the server to shut down, which is already does.

If your server is starting back up its not because of Smooth Restart Its from something else so you should be able to use this with no extra stuff. all that the 2 plugins do is basically initialising The restart command like how you would in console.
It says: "This plugin wont start The server after shutdown like SmoothRestart!"

yea? its just like it. Both plugins need assistance in starting the server up. here is a screenshot saying that SmoothRestart needs something to start the server backup after it shuts it down as there is not restart functionality natively with Rust, only quit or timed quit (which is what Rust's "restart" command is.).
