i was wondering if there was a way to put a time limit into this mod to stop players using it for many hours. like you could set it to a maximum useage of 6 hours and then not use it for say 2. please and thankyou for your mod.

The simple way to do this is to use a plugin that limit the stack size in storage, to limit the quantity of diesel a player can put in the excavator.
ex plugin chest stacks  or stack item storage.   etc

for Cheststack, the storage container of the engine is
"assets/content/structures/excavator/prefabs/engine.prefab"
