Possibly causing lag when usedSolved
Hey Calytic!

First off I wanted to tell you I love your mod and its helped me greatly when needing to track group limits on all three of my servers.

However, I ran into a bit of an issue and wanted to see if you could or would help me resolve it.

Little about my situation; we are a fairly new community (about a year old) and have been through numerous formats before getting some traction about 3 months ago. I assume it was based on reputation and word of mouth. All 3 of our servers are 100 pop servers and the first time we noticed this issue we were on our Main server. It was a Vanilla, 5 man running some admin tools and nothing else. We had some major lag once we hit around 60 to 70 players. It was intermittent and for a couple minutes at a time. Fealt like a ddos but was so inconsistent none of us including the host could figure out what was going on. Needless to say after that episode we never got pop back to that point again.

Fast forward to now and we are having the same issue again but on another one of our servers. The host was so kind as to move my entire server to a new box but still could not figure out the issue. Keep in mind this is a population based issue and its very hard to duplicate because we have to rely on population to create the scenario. The last 2 days have been rough in that I have been spending 12+ hours to narrow it down and still have one additional mod to try but I think it may have something to do with the Entity Owner plugin. To the best of your knowledge could anything within this plugin cause server lag and player ping spikes 1k plus? As I said I dont know if its this plugin or one other but wanted to at minimum get your attention and see what your thoughts were.

Thanks so much for your help and time on this matter.

Thanks for your kind words.  This plugin could cause lag but only when, and following immediately after, an administrator uses ones of the commands on a particularly large base.  This is why the "EntityLimit" configuration option exists.  If you're concerned that administrators are causing lag by using the commands, then I would recommend tweaking the EntityLimit and the DistanceThreshold.
I dont think it was when someone was using the prod commands or anything. Once again it may not be related to your mod but the common denominator between then and now is your mod and one other. I will surely let you know what I find. Thanks for your quick feedback!
