Hello I love this plugin and I would like to thank you for your time on it!

One small issue is that there is no control over weather a NPC is tasable. A player can currently tase npc's and take the stuff they have for example of you take a scientist u can get a Lr 300 and a scientist suit. Although I do like being able to tase NPC its not the kind of items I want acessable early game in our server.

thank you for using my plugin and the kind words.

Tasing NPCs is really an interesting aspect, which was not explicitly intended. Shouldn't be a problem to disable this with a config option, but as you said it's a nice feature. The question is how should the behaviour be for NPCs? Just kill them as normal? Or fill the inventory with the regular "kill-loot" and reset it if the NPC gets up again? This could all be made configurable through the plugin config, but I am almost sure i will miss some aspects and that's why I really would appreciate your thoughts on that.

Sorry for the late response, been working away on the server :D.   

if possible to lock there belt upon being tased so that you cannot take out what they have equiped would be handy. Then the player can decide what happens from there. But there deinitaly should be a option to turn off npc tasing so they cannot be abused by less trusted players

  • electrictaser.npc (able to tase npc)
  • electrictaser.use (lets a player use it but not make them)

    Having thease options would broden the range of use and trust levels you could do with the taser. Also would add value to the item for vendors

You are talking about permissions here, right? So that only players with permissions are able to give, use and use against npcs.
Shouldn't be to hard to add. I will look into that and try to provide a solution as flexible as possible.

Yes the most important would be

  • electrictaser.npc (able to tase npc)
    or the option to lock the belt of  NPC"s who are tased

    electrictaser.use would be useful to prevent it from being misused by it falling into wrong hands.

Hi again,
I pushed an update (v2.0.0). You can now grant permissions for general use and for use on npcs. With that I added some ways to configure the behavior for npc tasing and usage without permission. Like belt and wear locking or instant kills on npcs. I hope this gives you all the possibilities you were looking for.
