Drone not workedSolved

Hello, I don’t understand how it all works, I gave myself a drone, and what needs to be done to find out what needs to be added to the computer to control it

When you deploy the drone, you can aim at it and press E to set its ID. Then you can enter that ID in the computer station.

so on the letter E the drone goes up in inventory

That should only happen if you hold it. If you don't see the prompt to set the ID, try having building privilege, and no item in hand.

look, I have all the permission issued, what I need to do to get the id
to put it on the ground or in my hands to press e

I'm confused because earlier you said you had a drone and that you could pick it up. Now it sounds like you don't know how to get a drone at all.

Drones are vanilla craftable deployable items. Craft one, put it in your belt, select it, aim on the ground, and click. Then press E which pops up a text box where you can enter whatever ID you want (you make up the ID). Then enter that ID into a computer station, and select that ID to start controlling the drone. It's the same process as for CCTV.

I got it through the inventory.pass %STEAMID%drone 1 and here's what to do next, I don't understand, if you put it on the ground and press e, it will be picked up in the inventory, and if you press e in the inventory, nothing will happen

Pressing E while it's on the ground does not pick it up. You have to hold E to pick it up. You are supposed to see a prompt on the ground that says "Set ID". If you do not see that, then try having a nearby tool cupboard. Also, you have to be the owner to set the ID. When you deploy a drone, you are automatically set as the owner, unless a plugin is somehow surprisingly overriding that.

with a mallet in his hands, it worked

That's weird. That used to be a requirement, but that requirement was removed in this month's Rust update.
