Plugin does not work at all, reinstalled the plugin and configs and i still get the remote config error.

I just uploaded an update to Death Notes which allows you to manually download the files if you're experiencing issues.

It seems the webserver was unreachable for a while, however it is back now. You should no longer be getting those warnings.
