2.1.6 overwrites config to default install and doesn't update

No longer has chat notification but shows up in console ? and timing is off, message came up in console that event would start in one hour + then after typing /dtd it said it would start in 1 minute +

Hi, it is not fixed yet. Just downloaded the newest version, still resetting config.

Just checked my config and still as i left it, i also logged back in game and the messages are back in chat, so everything is ok.
make sure you have not made any errors in config (check with json validator) in case you missed/added a comma type of thing, any mistakes and it will revert to default,

Sorry i cannot understand it. when i installed 2.1.6 i had to redo the config but when i updated to 2.1.7 i checked config and it was as i left it. hope you get it resolved , i would try deleting config/plugin and reinstalling it even though you would have to go through the config again ,

I have downlaoded the last update, I have seen there was another update, but had no chance to get that one as I was at work. So I have downloaded the last update, which says "Fixed 2.1.6 update resetting config". Unloaded old plugin file, uploaded this, and my config file has been reset. So there is something wrong then isnt it? If I upload my previous config file, and type "oxide.reload DangerousTreasures", it will reset the config file again.

I have reloaded DangerousTreasures maybe 12 times in the last few hours , making changes to times, rockets, fireballs and size on map of indicator to get things the way i want and none of my config has been overwritten ?

Interesting. Do I have to upload to ver. 2.1.6 and then to the last one, or I donno what happend here. Thanks anyway, appreciate your report mate.

Update: had to actually redo the new config file, wont be able to use the old one with all the previous settings. Cheers

I do not have this issue. I will edit the update notes and state it will reset the config.

Just tested this again and my config was not reset when updating from 2.1.5 to 2.1.7

Interesting, mine was keep resetting. Was copying the previous config version from my backup from this morning. Reloaded, straight config reset. Set all in the new config, saved, reloaded and all good now. New updates doesnt like the old config at mine.

was able to reproduce this with someone elses config and fix it in 2.1.8
