Ideas?

Hi,

Either PayPal is having some trouble, and it'll work shortly. Or you have an issue with your PayPal account. For example; It is limited.

-Tim

Wow first thanks for the fast reply, also how to check if my account is limited? And how to see if paypal have issues and its not me?

Hi,

It should say so in your profile (https://www.paypal.com/us/brc/article/understanding-account-limitations). Not exactly sure where, but it should be called something like "Account status".

To test, you could go to the PayPal configuration of your store, and change the email to "[email protected]". If you go to your store and try to buy something (do not actually pay), and it brings you to the payment page (where you can login - Instead of getting that error) it means that the issue is with your account, as ours works if you see that screen.

Do change it back to yours after you checked, as we'd be getting your money instead of you in that case. It's just to test if it's your account, or PayPal in general.

Same error with your paypal email, so I guess it's paypal related issue, not with me. Thanks for the reply and will check tomorrow if error still happens.

That's odd, I just checked our test store and it works fine on there. What currency do you use? PayPal does not support all of them.

-Tim

Use currently BGN -> bulgarian lev currency

Can I do try with EUR instead but will do change it for sure.

EUR is fine as well, it's just to see if you can reach the payment screen instead of the error message. You don't need to do any payments.

-Tim

Yep, works with euro like before...

I was able to see the log-in screen of Paypal fine ; )
For now, I guess the problem is resolved.

The issue is with the BGN currency in that case, PayPal does simply not support it.
