When players are assigned a faster crafting speed using the permission VIP1 or VIP2, the crafting rate only follows the "Default crafting rate percentage":, regardless of the permission.

I noticed that if VIP1 permission has a higher crafting rate than default, players assigned with that permission will be getting the higher crafting rate.
Pardon the confusion please refer to example below.

Example 1:
Default Rate 50
VIP1 Rate 30
Player assigned with VIP1, Crafting rate 50.

Example2:

Default Rate 50
VIP1 Rate 100
Player assigned with VIP1, Crafting rate 100.

Update after testing I found the issue:

Issue 1: VIP1 or VIP2 permission regardless whatever setting, can only make crafting multiplier go above default setting and not below [Refer to example 1]
Issue 2: VIP1 or VIP2 setting works in a multiplier to the default rate. [Refer to example 2]

Example 1
Default Rate 70%
VIP1 50%
Player Assigned VIP1 Crafting Rate 70% instead of 35% [70/100*50 = 35]
Unable to decrease below the Default Rate

Example 2
Default Rate 70%
VIP1 150%
Player Assigned VIP1 Crafting Rate 105% [70/100*150 = 105]

I'm having the same issue what I'm looking at doing to work around this is setting Default to 40.0 which drops speed 60% from vanilla and when a player joins they get assigned to group vip1 which I set to 250.0 which sets the crafting speed back to 100% vanilla and for my vip2 I have that set to 150 which sets crafting speed to 40% below vanilla speed. That way with what i will call VIP_Gold that i want to have 60% decreased crafting time i just leave them as default and for example VIP_Silver players that i want to have 40% decreased crafting speed they get assigned with the vip2 class and new players that join go straight into vip1 class to set crafting speed to vanilla. just have to remember to have both VIP_Gold & Silver removed from vip1 class.

I too am having issues with the vip perms not working. And the above solution for lowering the default but increasing VIP did not seem to work for me. To be clear, ONLY the default value seems to have any controller on my server

This is the setup i use

"Default crafting rate percentage": 40.0,

"Allow crafting when inventory is full": false,
"Complete crafting on server shut down": false,
"Craft items with random skins if not already skinned": false,
"Show Crafting Notes": false,
"Crafting rate bonus mulitplier (apply oxide perms for additional mulitpliers": {
"vip1": 250.0,
"vip2": 150.0

I then made a basic plugin to add all players to a group which i callled "DefaultPlayers" if they are not allready asigned to another group which i named "vips"  this way i cant set "DefaultPlayers" to use "vip1": 250 there for all player in group "DefaultPlayers" are set to 100% vanilla speeds. When a player gets a vip pack for example they buy vip_silver they get put into group "vips" and removed from "DefaultPlayers" from the basic plugin i made and also get assigned to "vip2: 150 which sets crafting speed to 40% below vanilla speed or if they get vip_gold pack players get put into "vips" only and left in "default" group which is set by "Default crafting rate percentage": 40.0

2 months later and I'm having the same issue. Might just start looking for a different plugin at this point.

I am currently using a paid plugin from else where which helps to function the same as this, do give it a search
