Just wondering if it's possible. I run a zombie server and unlike the outpost, bandit town doesn't have turrets that kills zombies when they get near so players end up using their guns and get killed by bandits.

If i could help you I would. We been having major issues this month on how to disable the shops in the bandit town properly. This is totally conflicting with economics, and bandit town has items and shops that need to be removed. If anyone knows how to do this, give me a bump!

hello, your problem have nothing to do with the title off this thread :p
if u use CompoundOptions, unload plugin, navigate to oxide/data/CompoundOptions.json and change / remove all items from there so for example it look like this (but for all vending machine category or just what u dont need)
now save file and reload plugin.

Could you use a plugin like zone manager or ( similar) to exclude players from entering bandit town area ?,
Just a thought , I have not used it but I have joined servers where they had set up exclusion zones,
You would lose the benefit of anything that can be traded there but it might suit your game,

I thought of trying to use Zone manager to make zone have nonpctargeting , but I have not tested that yet. I might be able to test that soon, and will get back.

So i tested using ZoneManager , /zone nonpctargeting true , with a large zone covering the bandit camp area. The NPC do not shoot back when you fire at them or hold a weapon. I mainly wanted this so they do no shoot at boats when they get close to the bandit island.
