Is the intended behavior to only allow a door to be swiped 1 time? I am able to place the reader and get it to open a door on initial swipe but it remains closed / locked after. Any additonal swipe does not open the door again.

Try the update see if resolves the issue.

Seems to have fixed it. Thank you for the quick response.
I also narrowed it down to the timer and needing to reset the state of the cardreader somehow but wasn't too familiar with I/O states.

Ya they added a new reset for the card reader that i did not notice.
