I'm a server owner and I want to build around a monument, including some wiring.  I tried using the spawnhere command to get some items in, but they're badly aligned and the wire tool won't allow me to connect them.  So I went looking for plugins and I see this one is popular:

And I am embarassed to say that after re-reading the very short instructions many times, I am failing at getting it to do anything at all.

1. I used the /plugins chat command to confirm it is loaded.
2. I gave myself the permission as instructed.
3. I used the key binding command as instructed.

I can't figure out how to place a foundation near a monument.  I mashed the middle mouse button a lot, both with and without the building plan in my hands.  I tried left and right click as well.  There is no message and the foundation is not placed.

I used spawnhere to get a foundation at a disappointingly odd angle, and still couldn't place anything against that foundation despite many mashings of the magic middle mouse button and other mouse buttons.

I searched the internet for a tutorial on using this plugin, but couldn't find one.  I feel like an idiot for asking help on this, but here I am.  Any tips?

EDIT: I'm fine with using an entirely different plugin or approach if it gets the job done.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  :)

I would say build a building where you can ususally build then use copy paste (https://umod.org/plugins/copy-paste) to copy the base from where you can build to where you want it...
