For about 2 Months now players and I are finding very few places that a Quarry or Pump can be placed. It produces the Craters. But when it comes to Placing one. The odds are about 95%, that it will say: "Unstable"? This is hard to understand, as the craters are No Where near any borders. The land already has my TC placed. There are no monuments and none are being Placed in or on any Rock formation,/obviously! The land is Vast....AND FLAT! It makes NO SENSE to me at all?
 You have to travel miles to find any place at all that will allow you to place one? It was never this way until 2 months ago. 
Was wondering if your setups have anything to do with converting the EASE of locating and Placing a Mining Quarry or Pumpjack??? Changing the %'s....does nothing to solve this issue. Nothing/anywhere shows a reason for this in the json. So I have no idea. Who to ask...And who to blame. Either way, I need to find out, "WHY".

I have no solution.  this start to happen when Facepunch update the map and rock formation.
I don't see any parameter or config to modify that.

And yes. I believe it started when the Map topography geographical changes happened.
 You would think if it was a Problem....More people other than, "just me". Would also seem to have an opinion on this? Maybe they just, "accept it"?

This has been happening for us as well. It seems to have gotten worse with the Jungle update. Has anyone found a fix? Or working plugin alternative?
