Really want to get this working, how do i get the oil crater. used the charge on loads of mineral craters but none changing to oil. Please let me know hoe to get oil crater

Does anything need to be edited in the Json file to activate this in game or should it be good to go, know i can edit the chance for oil crater and output. Not got the oil crater yet though. Keep finding the normal craters then putting another survey charge on top but none turned to oil. Done alot now!

Cant i just give all permission to use and if so what command. Step by Step am i trying tog et teh oil teh right way? put a surcey charge onto a normal crater?
Ok to enable mod in game must active with permissions, as a novice this is the step that i was missing. Use this link https://oxidemod.org/threads/using-the-oxide-permission-system.24291/ and it is easy enough to work out from there. To enable all to use I typed in console............. oxide.grant group default backpumpjack.use
When throwing down a Survey Charge you normally have a chance of finding either:
1) Nothing
2) Stones
3) Sulfur
4) Metal Ore
5) High Quality Metal
(sometimes one crater gives 2 of these)
with this plugin you now have all those 5 chances above with the addition of a 6th option: finding an oil crater. These oil craters look like this:
However its still all blind luck though and its pretty hard to get lucky with what you want because you need to have both:
A) A perfect flat spot for your mining quarry or pump jack
B) You need to be very lucky to find the right crater on that spot and not nothing or something useless (like stones)
Maybe someone can make a plugin which gives you more control over what your Survey Charge looks for.
That you can buy like an Oil Survey Charge or an HQM Survey Charge and when throwing down that you only have the chance of finding HQM or Oil or something else.
Would that be possible?
