Sure you can dude, you can just put the require code in a snippet and say "put this here" and be done with it.
I just want to quickly point out that I didn't recommend uploading a modified plugin. I wouldn't recommend that ever. I did however recommend that if you want something custom done to a plugin and you think you can do it, then do it. Talk to the author about it along the way and see if it's something they wish to integrate into their plugin. I've already done this with the PlayerRank plugin. I wanted it to say 1st, 2nd, 3rd when it puts the top 3 into chat, so I learned how and did it.
