If you place an item down before placing a TC it continues to decay anyways. If you place a TC first and then the item e.g ext stonewall it doesn't decay

No problem with decay, i add my tc after all foundations and some walls have been built, doesnt seem to make any difference,
check your config.
my foundations stop decaying if I place TC after deployment but not for my ext stonewalls for e.g.

if I place a stone wall and then place a foundation and then place a TC on the foundation. The wall continues to decay and but the foundation doesn't
