If someone else builds base and gives codes only without joining the clan, the builder/ owner logs off and it becomes unraidable after time is up. The plug in thinks they're offline because associated accounts aren't on

In that case usually the base needs to be re-assigned ownership on their active account. That is outside the scope of this plugin, but if another plugin could track associates I would happily integrate with it.
