I have increased stack sizes (5k resorce ) and chest stacks (10x Furnace) on my server. Giving players the ability to smelt overnight or while offline. However, if they load up resorce into the furnace and hit the SORT button it instantly refunds or kicks out the excess resource to the current stack size limits (5k) .
