When I set a skill/stat cost multiplier to 1, instead of only multiplying by 1 for each increase (i.e keeping the cost increase static) it adds 1 to each increase, i.e if skill increase base cost is 1, it will cost 1, then 2, then 3 etc. If it's 2, it will cost 2, then 2 again, then 3, then 4 etc. It seems to just add one to each level increase when set to 1.
Skill/Stat Cost Multiplier Issue/Bug?Not An Issue
It's multiplier x next level.
Base cost is how much it cost to reach the first level
Multiplier is how much it cost for each level after that
So if you set base cost to 1 it will cost 1 point for level 1. If Multiplier is set to 1 it cost 1 x Level so it will increase by 1 point each time
Ahh, it just seemed like the base cost was just for the base cost per level and the multiplier would make it cost X times Y, where X is base cost and Y is the multiplier, which with X and Y set to 1 would make it 1 point per level increase.
Yeah it was a very tricky and complex figure when I first wrote it all out and I had to do it this way due to how it auto calculates points spent and when it gives points back on reset. Then adding in the fix data option when those settings are changed while players have already earned and spent points..ErikaSupremeAhh, it just seemed like the base cost was just for the base cost per level and the multiplier would make it cost X times Y, where X is base cost and Y is the multiplier, which with X and Y set to 1 would make it 1 point per level increase.
I know there are some confusing parts to this mod and all the calculations it does. I will hopefully have a detailed wiki coming out soon for it.
