Install location: /root/valheim
So i just did exactly like described here: https://umod.org/games/valheim/guide#how-do-i-update-valheim
cd valheim
umod update -P
umod update valheim --dir="/root/valheim" -P
Files are downloading to the wrong location..
Okay, where are they downloading?
Why you did not test and see by yourself mate?
They are basically all being downloaded to the /root/valheim and not to the right folders.

-umod is being downloaded to /root/valheim and not to /root/valheim/umod
-valheim files are not even being downloaded to /root/valheim/valheim_server_Data
That was a bug that should have already been fixed already. You can update the Agent with the steps: https://umod.org/guides/development/umod-installation-pre-release
Make sure to delete the files that were placed wrongly as well.

Valheim requires steamclient.so (x32/x64) in (/,/). Configure a global steamcmd path with "umod config agent.steamcmd"
Core updated
App update successful
The right steamso folder is "linux64" and not "linux"

Trying a new install:
root@DRValheim:~/valheim# umod install valheim -P
Valheim server up to date (6213901). Use --force to update from the depot anyway

You will fix all this problems now or it is better to go back to LGSM?
It will be resolved. LGSM doesn't support uMod that I am aware of, but also would still be using our agent.
yeah, i understand but i have 5x servers and users want to play but i cant update it because umod is always with "problems".
So maybe lgsm it is a better option for now cause it is not with "problems" when updating or installing a valheim server.

when it will be definitely fixed? now?
uMod is still in development and not released yet, so "problems" can be expected while we work out issues during development. You're welcome to use what you want, the issues will be resolved when able.
yeah, but it is really boring for users that are already using umod with valheim.
Now we need to completely move to another option cause umod simply does not work anymore :(
*I updated the server files manually, now umod does not load plugins and the map has been wiped.
Really strange..

" *I updated the server files manually, now umod does not load plugins and the map has been wiped.
Really strange.. " SOLVED! World files are now saved in /root/.config/unity3d/IronGate/Valheim/worlds
The world files are stored under "/root/.config/unity3d/IronGate/Valheim/worlds" by default with Valheim.
The world files are stored under your server install location by default with uMod.
You can override the save path by using -savedir "/path/to/files" in your startup.
I already know that.
But if umod do not work (at least do not start the plugins), then it is not saving the game to server install location too.
Just guessing..

Alert us when the umod is fixed and working again ;)
Keep your good work.
You can use the -savedir arg out the vanilla game.

Like i said: "I already know that."
Anyway, thanks for the info.
