Drowning upon connectingSolved
After the latest update, players no longer float in the air when disconnected. When it teleports someone under the ground, they fall into the water and can drown pretty quickly upon logging back in, before waking up. The only real workaround as of now is to set a static teleport location inside an empty monument building or something, but that's not ideal.

Possible solutions:
  • Enable god mode automatically when disconnecting, if it's not already. Then disable it again after waking up, if it wasn't previously enabled.
  • Enable vanish on disconnect. This would require vanish.abilities.invulnerable, but it would also mean they're vanished before even waking up, which is probably better anyway. This could be as simple as adding them to "Invisible" in the Vanish data file on disconnect, if that's possible.

Yeah, I have it set to a static location inside an empty building and have instructed admins to use that if they want to spawn elsewhere. That works alright for now, but it's still preferable that they just get pulled under and spawn exactly where they logged off without them having to update it themselves.

It's because in the last update they made it so players no longer float when disconnecting. When Underworld pulls you under the ground, you fall into the water and if you don't wake up in time when you reconnect, you'll drown.

i'm not killed, strange...

That setting isn't making a difference for me. If I have vanish or god mode enabled before I disconnect I won't drown, but if I don't I'll drown regardless.
