Deleted the UiPlus.json file and loaded new version. No panel whatsoever now. Seems broken.

Make sure to read the docs which clearly state that you have to grant yourself a permission to be able to see it. Don't call something "broken" unless you sure that you have completed all the guidelines about the usage of the plugin.
Im having the same issue, but the perm is preventing it - I entered in oxide.grant group default uiplus.see and it says the perm doesn't exist.
