Is there anyway to disable heli from damaging vehicle only? People been using this method to grief other players on our PVE server.
Disable heli damage on vehicle?
Noticed that players can blow up/ damage cars, even while "players cannot damage cars", "nothing can damage cars" and "cars cannot damage players" is active.
there is not flag for vehicles only, try using NoHeliDamage
damage is not a valid keyword. use hurt instead.
both of you can run a trace using tpve.trace if the issue persists. you should first configure it in the config file though. enable both player and server console options and set the max distance from player to 100. type tpve.trace near the object and report what it shows

Sorry kind of confusing about the tpve.trace thingy. So after i config it. It will auto log a file for us to see which entities were damage by heli etc? Or just at that moment when I use that command?
Also using NoHeliDamage will disable damage to buildings as well right?
it is when you use the command. you type it once to toggle it on, and type it again to toggle it back off. I should clarify that you must type /tpve.trace in your client and not the server console in order for the plugin to use your player with the max distance setting. otherwise it will trace everything on the server which isn't helpful with this issue.
rules cannot be used for damage done by helicopters. use flags for that
