Do you have a stacksizecontroller_vanilla-defaults.json in your datafile? this will only be an issue if that file isn't being downloaded correctly.

Alright have a little more time to look at this. 

First @RJGamer1002 your configuration is incorrect. Run it through a json validator to identify where the formatting error is.

3.4.3 is using the data file configuration is it not ? ,  Version 4+ is using the  configuration  settings and you dont touch the data file,

Less issues, the datafile isn't really the place for that stuff, it belongs in configuration so put it there. I built a converter for it here https://umod.org/community/stack-size-controller/39589-stacksizecontroller-datafile-configuration-conversion-tool

Datafiles don't like being live edited, configuration doesn't care, that's primarily why the change.
