i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong but changes to the data file are not taking effect, i tryed restarting the server, reloading the addon, changing the config file seems to be working on some items.
any help or a point in the right derection would be wonderful

Make sure any edits you make to the data file are done while the plugin is unloaded or while the server is offline. Editing while loaded will cause your data file to reset in most cases.
i deleted the addon, config, and data files and started over,
while the server was on i was able to unload the addon, edit then load and its working.
restarted and it's still working. yay!
i don't know what i did wrong before but its working now. thanks!
Btw been meaning to ask, is there an acceptable workaround to make that functionality? I'm just realizing I could probably just add a command that replaces the in-memory data file with the modified data file from disk, that's possible correct, and is there a better implementation?Wulf
