this plugin was so much better when it was 600 lines and had the value for each item and not stack 

It used to have option to set all stacks to a certain size.
But now it seems that everything needs to be customized.
Is there any option to do all stacks of everytyihng to certain size or do you need to go item by item or catagory to figure it out ?

I'm sticking to v2.0.4 it allows specific item edits and just less of a headache 600 lines vs 4k +
v2.0.4 you did item per item but I rather spend a bit for each item actual stack and not multiplier cause it was simpler and more specific 

This functionality exists, just as it did before. If you wish to set hard limits for individual items there are 2 ways to do this.First is via the command `stacksizecontroller.setstack` or by manually modifying the configuration file entry for IndividualItemStackHardLimits which accepts the item id followed by a hard limit.Second is via the data file. Merely unload StackSizeController and modify CustomStackSize values to your hearts content, save, then load StackSizeController to update stakcs.There's no reason to revert to a broken version of the plugin for functionality that already exists, and is documented in the plugin description. (Excluding data file overrides, haven't had a chance to document that thoroughly, although it is mentioned under "Important Notes")

I agree with Leakz.. This was so much better and easier to configure on the previous version.
I had to roll back to the previous version as I don't have the time this morning to completely reconfigure the config.

Can you share all or part of your old configuration file. I must be missing something because it should be much the same process.

What's wrong with that, you're still only changing one setting, it's just easier to locate and modify them?

I agree, on first sight i thought it there was going to be too much editing, BUT then i realised that i only had to change one value (custom stack) for each item, once that is done thats it, and if you set a default setting for new items *100 you dont have to go and look for it when it is added to the game

I've always set this plugin up by editting the data file. Now that the data file is 4 times bigger it will take much longer especially over a remote desktop session. Is there a way I can set all stack sizes to 25000 easily with a command? then I can just edit the data file to change the ones I need back again.

And that will actually be much more editing (for me) as all my resources are 600000, weapons are 15, fun is 10 etc so i would have to go throught the whole list anyway.

I'd highly suggest using FTP to download the data file, modify then upload. If you're modifying each one individually that's going to take a while regardless. The configuration file has settings for setting entire categories, and the plugin description explains several commands you can run if you'd like to edit the config via commands instead.You can only set multipliers for categories. I'll have an update soon that allows you to set hard limits instead of multipliers for categories and other things.

That being the case I think I'll wait for the update and leave things be for the moment.

Did a stacksizecontrller. setallstacks and now all my resources can stack to way past the settings that I set.

That sets the multiplier, not the hard limit, so it takes the vanilla stack size (or the one defined in the data file) and multiplies it by that value. If you need a hard limit, that'll be possible in an update this weekend or sooner.
