Why the unnecessary chat command changes?Solved

  • /mini // Spawn a minicopter   -  used to be /mymini    
  • /nomini // Respawn your minicopter infront of you  - used to be remove mymini

the changes just mean admins have to re educate their entire player base on the servers. you even changed the MyMiniCopter json to spawnmini json. meaning admins have to manually remove the old mod from each folder within   oxide, pointless.
i know each maintainer wants to put their own spin on things but why change stuff if its not needed?

yeah, people have used /mymini for years, it shouldn't change

Just finished adding all the new perms to my VIP ranks......what a pain......why the hell have you removed the nofuel and no decay perms? They worked perfectly fine.

If you was going to change it to make it yours then why did you not include all the features that was already in the plugin and which was widely used.

I totally agree, I have several VIP Ranks and with this new config, I am now unable to set it the way it needs to be.

I renamed the plugin due to the name having negative connotations, all of the server owners I had spoken to didn't use myminicopter due to it being buggy and messy. As for the new config, I had to do this as I completely rewrote the plugin which means when I inevitably am no longer maintainer of this plugin it is far easier to update/add features. If you really would like me to I will change it back to /mymini or you can change it yourself in line #64.
I have also left the old myminicopter downloads available for people that need the features while I slowly add them into the plugin.

You may want to consider a configuration option for commands, else use the Lang API like I do in the majority of my plugins.

I second the comments here, now I have to change a lot of stuff. Also, why remove options and commands that worked just fine, it makes no sense to me. If I change the commands back (easy to do) it means I have to do it every time the plugin is updated too, which I inevitably will.

For now I am not upating to the new version, I will watch to see what happens.

RFC is still maintaing the original MyMinicopter, currently at version 0.2.1, try searching for it on his own website or the other website which I cannot mention here.

The next version will be reverted back to /mymini as well as having a configuration option for the command
