Did you edit the en file or make an fr one under oxide/lang/fr? If you made one under oxide/lang/fr, you'd need to set your language on the server to fr using "/lang fr" for yourself or "lang fr" for the entire server via the server console.

We'd need to know what steps you took exactly to setup the lang file though in order to help you. Also keep in mind that unless you set your server-wide language to French, the default English file would be used in some cases where the message isn't sent to an individual player.

I made the same manipulation as the others .... I took the lang "EN", carried out the translation taking care to translate only the second part of the file "lang", then I put it back in the folder "lang / fr".
Then I restarted the server. And nothing happens.

The server doesn't need to be restarted generally. You still need to set the actual language used by either your player (/lang fr chat command) or server-wide (lang fr server command) for that file to be used. Keep in mind what I said previously though, that not all messages may use the language preference set by players, as they may only use the default that server sets (lang fr) which is en by default.
